Welcome to the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF)
NZVIF is a private equity fund of funds investor and a cornerstone investor in New Zealand’s venture capital market. We currently have $200 million of funds under management which is invested through two vehicles – the $160 million venture capital fund of funds and the $40 million seed co-investment fund. We are also developing new private equity investment products.
We have deep knowledge of the New Zealand venture capital and private equity market. Our people have specialist skills in systematic review, assessment and due diligence of private equity and venture capital investment teams, contract negotiation and ongoing active monitoring of investments.
Our investment focus is New Zealand-originated, high-growth potential companies.
As a New Zealand government supported fund manager NZVIF, also plays an active role in market development, alongside the local venture capital industry.
